dISNEY

It's been forever and I have to write in this or I'm gonna stop.

So...let's go back to the weekend of the 8th.

Oldest sis & hubby, neice, Gma and me and the girl went to Disneyland for neices' graduation present.
We went to dinner at REd Robin and then off to downtown Disney for the night. Tesla was playing at the House of Blues!! Didn't go though. I like the atmo at downtown. I could totally people watch there. Which in part we did. Red Robin and walkie walkie don't mixie.

The next day, we were early to start the day at Disneyland. We arrived at the gates by 8:20 or so I beleive.
And let the walking begin!!
Holy shit...I've forgotten how long its been since D world. I was 4 yrs younger and about 35 lbs lighter than last time.

Very first ride....Space Mtn. Now, I luv roller coasters or at least i did. It's been awhile since I last went on one...oh say 1995 or so?. A roller coaster that loops around and around and around first thing in the am was not such a bright idea. Needless to say, after that ride I didn't want to go to Tower of Terror with big sis.
We did something better....we began the Food-land part of the day.
Big sis hubby went and got us a chili dog, some chips and water and we sat down on the sidewalk and waited for the ride to be over. After that we went and hit up the Mission Tortilla factory to get a free tortilla. Next stop...PotRoast-Land , ice-cream-Land, Popcorn-land and Chimichanga-Land. IN between the food-lands, we did actually get on some rides.
One of them was the haunted mansion......
NOw anyone who's gone on this ride, knows its dark in there. A person with RP, doesn't stand a chance in there.
So , what do I do? I'm about ready to get off the tram into one of the buggies and I missed the chair completely and stood on the tarmac in between the two buggies. The nice disney employee came running and grabbed me in time to not get my foot chopped off by the moving floor. Wonderful.


We got there in the morning and left at 12:15....!!
Needless to say, we were tired and sore.
Well worth it though. We all had a blast.
